Test Results and Confidentiality

To ensure the confidentiality of your medical information, test results are typically not provided over the telephone. We request that you schedule a follow-up consultation to discuss the results of all tests. It is important to attend this consultation within a week or as advised by your doctor or pathologist to review and discuss your results comprehensively.

Telephonic Results Notification

In certain situations, your doctor may advise you to contact the practice by phone to obtain your results. This will be communicated to you if applicable.

National Registry Notification

For your convenience and public health purposes, the results of all pap smears, childhood immunisations, and some adult vaccinations will be forwarded to the relevant national registry. This ensures that your health records are updated and accessible as needed for future reference and care.

Internal Recall and Reminder System

All patients are automatically enrolled in our internal recall and reminder system. This system helps manage pathology results, regular health checks, and reviews such as diabetic assessments. It is designed to ensure you receive timely reminders and follow-up appointments to support your ongoing health management.

Opt-Out Option

If you prefer not to be included in our internal recall and reminder system, please inform your doctor. We respect your choice and will make the necessary adjustments to your records.
