RESULTS

To ensure confidentiality, test results are not usually given over the telephone. It is requested that you return for a follow up consultation to discuss the results of all tests within a week or as advised by your doctor or pathologist. 

Under certain circumstances your doctor may advise telephoning to obtain results. 

Notification of the results for all pap smears, childhood immunisations and some adult vaccinations will be provided to the relevant national registry. 

All patients are automatically enrolled in our internal recall and reminder system for pathology results as well as for regular health checks such as diabetic reviews.
